I realized I should maybe give some actual feedback, so here we are:

The art style is really well done, and the sound design is truly outstanding! The game mechanics are a little simple, I would say I would hope for something a little more to match the quality of the art. However, I'm also really impressed that y'all were able to elevate rock, paper, scissors through your art to make something my team and I very much enjoyed playing.

Also it's nice to see that the rat graduated rat highschool to become overlord of the colosseum, he's really moving up in the world

I really liked the art style of your game! And I like the idea of controlling multiple mazes at once, but I think you could have done more with that idea. The mazes were almost identical for the most part, you could really try to make them different from each other to elevate the idea

I like the idea you were going for, and I appreciate all of the hand drawn art. The controls were a little hard to get used to though. And the jump is bugged so that sometimes it activates all of your abilities at once

This game sure has a lot of charm to it, the graphic style is really nice! The game mechanics could use some work though, jumping especially is pretty rough.

The basic game mechanics are pretty fun! Especially with that leaderboard egging you on.

Here's some constructive criticism from the guy with the high score on hell:

- It's not very clear what the range on the melee weapons is. It makes them somewhat hard to use. And because the blue weapon is the only ranged weapon, I basically only use that one, regardless of enemy weaknesses.

- Enemies can spawn right next to the player, making you take damage that feels unfair. Consider adding a check to make sure enemies don't spawn within a certain distance, or perhaps just not in the same room

- It can get annoying running around hunting for the one enemy left who's just stuck in a doorway somewhere. Some kind of hud element, like an arrow pointing to the enemies left, might be a good idea

- "play again" should launch you back into the game, not back out to the menu

All that being said, I had a good time! I think with some refinement, and maybe expand on some of the elements, this could really go somewhere!

Dang, this is a really solid game! I feel like you could expand this to a full game if you wanted to.

Some feedback:

- the rapid fire power up is so good, I never wanted to drop it to experiment with other stuff. The default shooting is so slow I feel like the rapid fire should be the default.

- The green enemies just feel like bullet sponges, some more varied enemies would be great. But I understand the time constraints of a jam

- Overall, the art style is really good!

Rat Gang represent!
